100% Dark Brown Sugar

DogMaster sources dark brown sugar from local vendors for our rum production. Utilizing the mash tun we dissolve 600 pounds of brown sugar to create a sugar wash which is fermented with a specially selected rum yeast.  Fermentation takes 10-15 days.

To ensure the final product has a unique finish, our Rum is distilled around 130 Proof. The Rum is then finished in one of our used Whiskey Barrels.

It is then removed and finished in a blending tank with a select blend of toasted oak chips to impart additional flavor and character. The rum is then proofed with spring water and bottled at 90 proof.
